Scope Sessions are a way to map, track and compare microscopic images of the scalp and hair for results from hair loss treatments. Developed by Trichologist Carolyn Evans at Absolique Hair Health Clinic, Scope Sessions are an essential part of every hair loss treatment performed by Absolique to ensure results and to test various methods of hair loss treatments. No two heads of hair are the same so we must keep testing and trialing different approaches for the many different causes of hair loss and hair thinning.
By measuring and marking out specific locations on the scalp we can take images at the beginning of hair loss treatment and at the end which generally 4 months later to compare the images and see the results. The microscope is not forgiving and does not hide the truth of what has or not happened during hair loss treatments. We can also use the microscope to track maintenance hair loss treatments, HomeCare hair loss treatments and in the event that hair loss or hair thinning occurs again in life.
Benefits of scope sessions:
- Display 60x more detail than digital photographs
- Cannot be photo shopped
- Proven accuracy by matching markings on the scalp
- Shows exactly how the hair is growing
- Shows individual hair diameter and density
- Demonstrates the existence of vellus, transitional and terminal hairs related to DHT in female pattern thinning and male pattern thinning
- Displays open and empty hair follicles
Scope sessions take one hour to perform and cost $200 which includes your comparison session after your second, third, fourth …. Scope session. Scope sessions are complimentary at Absolique The Hair Loss Clinic when undertaking our in clinic hair loss treatment program.
