Scalp is skin, always has been and always will be.

Hair is the result of a cellular hardening process called keratinization, once the hardening takes place the hair is now dead cells, but the skin is constantly dividing cells reaching the surface of the scalp and include many appendages which are responsible for body homeostasis which is essential regulation.
Hair shampoo is supposed to look after your hair type and the condition of your hair cuticle, but is not good for the living scalp skin. Put simply, would you wash your face with your hair shampoo? One would hope not! So why do your wash your precious scalp skin with a hair shampoo?
